Whisk 1 large egg in a measuring cup. Blend in heavy cream to reach the 0.5 cup mark. Use 3-4 eggs for a 9" pie.

Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C
Prepare a single pie crust.
- Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie crust. Pour in egg custard.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
